HSBC and Plaza Premium Group (PPG) have announced a new partnership aimed at enhancing the travel experience for HSBC credit card customers. Through PPG’s mobile-app based global membership program called Smart Traveller, HSBC cardholders will have access to a range of exclusive airport hospitality benefits. This collaboration marks the first of its kind in the market and aims to provide unique rewards and benefits to HSBC’s cardholders.

The partnership enables HSBC cardholders to convert their RewardCash (RC) into Smart Traveller’s Arrture Points instantly through API integration on HSBC Reward+. These Arrture Points can then be redeemed for various airport experience rewards, including Plaza Premium Lounge access, Plaza Premium First upgrades, ALLWAYS buggy services, and airport lounge and hotel services in key travel destinations, all through the Smart Traveller app. Additionally, HSBC cardholders will have access to an exclusive marketplace within the Smart Traveller app, where they can redeem a curated selection of travel experiences for themselves, their families, and friends at a discount of up to 70 percent.

To celebrate the launch of the partnership, there will be a special promotion from 1 July until 31 August 2023, where HSBC cardholders can enjoy a preferential conversion rate of $1RC to 10 Arrture Points.
